Viral Marketing

Every communications professional finds herself in a situation where she manages to suggest an idea for a viral social media campaign and inadvertently ends up smack in the middle of it. Wait. That happens to every communications professional, right?

A social media campaign was created surrounding the launch. Each week, fans were treated to "clues" about what the new product would be. The campaign needed something. Annileaks was born.

Annileaks was an employee at Reliv International. She did her best to leak the secret of Reliv's newest product, healthy energy shot 24K before it was launched. She called her mission Annileaks. She used Facebook and YouTube to leak the information.

It didn't go very well.

At every turn, her investigations were foiled. She was not very good at corporate espionage.
